Sophia Toubian is a PhD Candidate in Information Studies at UCLA. Her research focuses on “vibe” and the disconnect between information produced in science and its public-facing representations. Her work aims to bridge the gap between experts and the public by creating more effective, equitable ways of communicating complex ideas.
